SQx is pleased to announce that we are the 2023 grant recipients of the Vancouver Foundation Recovery & Resiliency Fund! This grant will help SQx develop and implement longer-term resiliency plans so that we can continue to provide public benefit for vulnerable communities across BC. Additionally, it will advance the role of art and culture in promoting social inclusion and equity.
What’s unique about this grant?
During the COVID-19 pandemic, when organizations faced challenges sustaining operations and meeting increased demand due to funding and staffing issues, the Vancouver Foundation collaborated with United Way BC and New Relationship Trust to establish flexible grants, enabling them to support recovery efforts and long-term planning. The funding initiative is generously supported by the Province of British Columbia.
