16 Oct Bienal Cultura e Educação: | 2023 RETROVISOR: Uma História do Futuro
On October 10, 2022 SQx presented our work at the 5th Biennial Culture and Education Meeting, Retrovisor 2023: A History of the Future in Óbidos, Portugal. Here we presented our Active Inclusion Program (AIP) as well as our international socially-conscious programming work.
The meeting was hosted by Plano Nacional das Artes (National Plan of the Arts) of the Portuguese Government, whom SQx is a partner of. PNA aims to make the arts more accessible to citizens, in particular to children and young people, through the educational community, promoting participation, fruition, and cultural creation, in a logic of inclusion and lifelong learning.
The Deputy Commissioner of PNA (Sara Brighenti) and Minister of Culture (Pedro Adão e Silva) attended and other partners of PNA including cultural workers, artists, and schools also presented their work.
