With support from the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance, SQx is presenting 3 FREE workshops to stimulate discussion about blending art and culture with social innovation and rural regeneration.

The workshops are intended for artists, cultural managers, educators, & pre-professionals from the Columbia Basin & beyond.

  • Increase participant’s capacity to engage local audiences
  • Increase participants knowledge and ability to develop partnerships in the Basin and beyond.
  • Increase participants interest, knowledge, ability to create socially conscious art for underrepresented populations.
  • Increase participants increased knowledge and ability about institutions, resources, funding, and support networks that exist for rural-based artists in the Basin and beyond.
