Shaw’s Canada 150 Outstanding Canadians | Carmen Moreira, Award Winner

In celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday, Shaw is recognizing individuals making extraordinary contributions to the lives of young people. 50 outstanding individuals and organizations have been selected nationally, and it is with pleasure and gratitude that we announce Carmen Moreira as one of the winners!

This acknowledgment (as a national leader contributing to the youth) is a great honour. On behalf of Carmen & SQx, receiving an award such as this is incredibly humbling. However, it is also an indication of the hard work and dedication we put into our programs. Everyday we strive to take as many opportunities to live by our mission, using contemporary dance to make the world a better place.
