Carmen Gets Artist in Residence in Iceland & Norway

Carmen has been invited to be Artist in Residence at DansiT in Norway, from January 9 – 30, and the Institute of Gunnar Gunnarsson in Iceland, from February 3 – 23.

Her work in residence will be on the piece, Coroner, an exploration of looking into the end.

Anticipating the residency, Carmen explained,“[b]eing artist in residence will be an special opportunity that will allow me to complete my sampling and editing of video and interviews in place that is familiar but vastly different than my existing content. I hope especially to be able to arrange to speak with local Trondheim people to complete my projection and sound content.”
